MotionBend 1.6.5 includes a new tool to facilitate installing MotionBend plugin for Final Cut Pro X; MotionBend Assistant handles license registration and plugin install and uninstall.
The MotionBend Assistant includes the FCPX plugin for MotionBend Video Stabilizer and Motion Editor. Simply copy the Assistant application to your local disk, run it and install the plugin using the built in functions.
The Assistant recognises any previously activated license keys, otherwise you are invited to enter your registration key. You may install the plugin without registering for the purposes of evaluating MotionBend - video will be watermarked.
The included plugin has been tested on the latest FCPX and Motion running on macOS Catalina. There are some minor improvements to the plugin since the previous version.
A new version of MotionBend stand-alone is in development, the MotionBend Assistant is meant to be a temporary measure to help with registration and installation. You can also use this tool to deactivate your MotionBend license on one machine so that you can transfer it to another.
MotionBend 1.6.4 remains available to download for those users on older versions of macOS.
