MotionBend 1.3 is currently in the final stages of testing and will be with us very soon. Almost every aspect of MotionBend has received some love and attention since the last release so it seems like a good opportunity to look at some of the changes coming up in the new version.

Only a few weeks have passed since MotionBend 1.2.5 was released, in that time we have released both 1.2.6 and now 1.2.7. You may be asking why we didn’t wait and put all the changes into a single new version. The reason is that we had made improvements and fixes that we felt warranted a new version as soon as possible.

MotionBend 1.2.5 has now been released. The most important change with this version is to how motion is corrected to make it even smoother. In MotionBend there are two types of motion correction: Global, affecting the entire video, and Local, affecting a smaller range of frames.

As we continue to improve MotionBend, a small deployment problem came up with the last version (1.2.3). Rather than make a new release of the old version to fix it, we decided to push out the features we’ve been working on recently and release 1.2.4.

MotionBend version 1.2.3 has just been released. While the main theme for this version is improving how MB interacts with you, there are also a number of internal changes that make this a worthwhile upgrade.
